Hannah Waddingham says she will no longer be hosting the BBC Fantasy, Myths And Legends Prom at the Royal Albert Hall, out of solidarity with the ongoing Hollywood actors’ strike.The actress and singer, known for her performance in the Bafta-winning Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, said she was “respectfully” stepping down. In a post on social media shortly before the event, she wrote: “Hey guys, I very sadly won’t be able to host tonight’s @‌bbcproms ‘Fantasy, Myths and Legends’. “It will be a magical night, but due to my ongoing support for the @‌sagaftra strike, I must respectfully step down.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Dan Harmon’s new animated series “Krapopolis” has set its long-awaited premiere date at Fox. The series will debut with a special two-episode preview on Sunday, Sept. 24 immediately following the NFL doubleheader that night. Fox has not announced its full fall schedule at the time of this publishing, but the network says that “Krapopolis” will make its regular timeslot premiere on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 8:30 pm ET/PT as part of the network’s “Animation Domination” block. “The Simpsons” will lead into the new show at 8 pm, followed by “Bob’s Burgers” at 9 pm and “Family Guy” at 9:30 pm.

Eurovision fans were scratching their heads as they spotted a familiar face. As the results came in during the grand final hosted by the UK for Ukraine a famous face stood out to them.

K.J. Yossman Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Swedish contestant Loreen came first with her song “Tattoo,” beating out 25 other countries to garner 583 points. Her win means the contest will likely be held in Sweden next year. Traditionally the winning country hosts the following year’s contest. Sweden was followed by Finland’s Käärijä with 526 points and Israel’s Noa Kirel with 362 points, who took second and third place respectively. This year’s Eurovision took place in Liverpool, U.K. on behalf of last year’s winner Ukraine after it was deemed too dangerous to hold Eurovision in the country following the Russian invasion. Ukrainian entry Kalush Orchestra won last year’s contest followed by the U.K.’s Sam Ryder in close second.
