‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ Reboot Cast Revealed

Bravo has unveiled the brand-new cast of its rebooted “Real Housewives of New York City” franchise. Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Lizzy Savetsky, Jessel Taank and Brynn Whitfield will all be joining for Season 14. The news was revealed at a “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” taping on Sunday night during BravoCon, when the ladies surprised fans by walking on stage. Andy Cohen said he wanted the new cast to better reflect New York City, and indeed it does. Ellise Shafer Former “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Dorinda Medley is staying mum on whether she’s apart of Bravo’s mysterious “RHONY: Legacy” spinoff, but she’s open to the idea. “I swear to you, you know as much as we do. I promise you,” Medley told Variety at BravoCon. “I’ve heard more about the new girls [on the rebooted ‘RHONY’] than I have about ‘Legacy.’ Listen, if you hear something, call me! I’ll be at Blue Stone Manor waiting, decorating for Halloween.” When asked if she wants to participate in the “Legacy” spinoff, Medley said “of course.” “Listen, I never wanted to leave [‘RHONY’]!” she said. “People think I left. The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson is returning to the show, she insisted at BravoCon on Friday that she won’t be coming back as a cast member or friend of — though she has filmed a few scenes. “I’m not on as a cast member, I’m not on as a friend of,” Gunvalson told Variety. “I definitely did film a couple scenes.” During an “Ultimate Girls Trip” panel, Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister, who moderated, asked producers whether Gunvalson is joining “Orange County.” Alfonso Rosales, a co-executive producer on “Ultimate Girls Trip,” said he does not believe she is joining as a full-time cast member. A source tells Variety that she is in fact not joining as a full-time cast member or as a friend of the Housewives — but that she did film a few cameos, including a lunch scene.

Rex Orange County Charged With Six Counts of Sexual Assault, Singer Denies Allegations

Ethan Shanfeld English pop singer Rex Orange County, whose real name is Alexander O’Connor, has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman on six separate occasions in London. The 24-year-old artist appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London on Monday to deny the allegations. After pleading not guilty to all six charges, O’Connor was released on unconditional bail. A provisional trial date has been set for Jan. 3, 2023. O’Connor allegedly assaulted the woman twice in the West End on June 1 and four additional times the next day, once in a taxi and three times at his home in Notting Hill.

Wilde, who is unveiling her second feature as a director out of competition at the festival, graces the cover of Variety’s Venice issue, on newsstands now. It marks the first dedicated Venice magazine issue that Variety has done, as the magazine’s co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh pointed out. “We couldn’t think of a better subject than Olivia,” Setoodeh said.
