Post Malone and Morgan Wallen have announced that their collaborative single ‘I Had Some Help’ will be released next week (May 10).The two premiered the song during Wallen’s headline set at Stagecoach Festival last Sunday (April 28), when Malone joined him as a guest for the song’s live debut.Malone had also previewed the song with a 17-second clip beforehand, and now, in a joint Instagram post, the duo have confirmed that the single will get an official release in the coming days.A post shared by @postmaloneCheck out some fan-captured footage of the song’s debut performance at Stagecoach below:Malone also played his own set at Stagecoach, made up entirely of fan-requested covers of country classics. A major exhibition, “Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock,” has just opened and will run through 2025. The must-see walk-through traces a history of roots music in L.A. rock that expands to include the Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers and Michael Nesmith in the 1960s; the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris in the ’70s; and Dwight Yoakam, Lone Justice and Los Lobos in the ’80s, among many other influential and sometimes commercially impactful figures. Variety recently visited the museum and spoke with co-curators Michael Gray, the facility’s executive senior director of editorial and interpretation, and Michael McCall, the museum’s senior editor, about why the ’60s through ’80s were a golden age for country-inflected rock in Los Angeles. Other artists saluted Williams via taped congratulations, like Robert Plant and Dwight Yoakam, who called giving Williams the lifetime achievement award “long overdue.” Maybe it wasn’t that long overdue: Williams is only the fourth artist to get the Troubadour honor since it was instituted in 2017, following in the footsteps of John Prine, John Hiatt and Robert Earl Keen.

The body of Luke Bell, 32, was discovered in Tucson, Arizona, according to the New York Post, which cited the city's police department. His friend Matt Kinman, also a country artist, confirmed his death to the Saving Country Music website, saying he was found on Monday near to where he was reported missing on 20 August.
