The Courtney A. Kemp-created” Power” was a massive hit with a six-season run on Starz, introducing iconic characters, including the menacing Kanan Stark (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson).

Starz family crime drama Power Book III: Raising Kanan has received an early renewal for Season 4, ahead of its December 1 Season 3 premiere. Production will begin this week in New York.

Starz has set a late summer premiere date for Season 2 of Power Book IV: Force. The third spinoff in the Power franchise starring Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan will premiere its second season Friday, September 1 at midnight ET on the Starz app, Starz streaming and on-demand platforms and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform across Brazil, Spanish-speaking Latin America, the UK and Ireland. On linear, it will debut on Starz at 8 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

The Starz drama Power Book II: Ghost has a return date. The popular spinoff from the Power franchise will premiere March 17 at midnight on the Starz app, with the linear return scheduled for 8 p.m. that evening.

Announced at the Television Critics Association 2022 summer press tour, the news comes ahead of the Aug. 14 debut of Season 2.“Raising Kanan,” the third series in the “Power” universe, it set in the early ‘90s and tells the origin story of Kanan Stark (MeKai Curtis) and his entry into the criminal world through his mother, Raquel (Patina Miller) who ruthlessly runs the family’s drug empire.

Starz has renewed Power Book III: Raising Kanan for a third season ahead of the show’s sophomore return on August 14. Production on Season 3 will begin this summer in New York.

Fans won't have to say goodbye to the world of Power anytime soon. Only hours before Power's series finale, Starz announced that it had ordered an additional three spin-offs of the Courtney A. Kemp drama, Variety reports. The three series join the previously announced spin-off, Power Book II: Ghost.

As “Power” prepares to sign off, it does so leaving a legacy that had an impact not only on its cast and crew but also on the wider cultural narrative.

As the show prepares to close its sixth and final season in February, Starz has announced Clifford “Method Man” Smith will be joining the “Power” prequel, “Power Book 2: Ghost,” starring opposite Mary J. Blige. The network also released a first look image of the rapper’s character in the upcoming series.
