ABC's Disney Family Singalong pulled on all of our nostalgic heartstrings on Thursday (April 16), but a serious throwback came in the form of an epic High School Musical reunion, in which Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman and director Kenny Ortega came together (virtually) to perform "We're All in This Together."This isn't the first time the group came together since the final installment of the HSM franchises hit theaters in 2008.
The biggest moment of Disney's Family Singalong saw the original High School Musical cast reunited to perform the first movie's finale son, "We're All in This Together." Vanessa Hudgens (who played Gabriella), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan), Corbin Bleu (Chad), and Monique Coleman (Taylor) all joined in for the performance, which was recorded via Zoom as the cast all quarantined.
As much of the country remains under quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic, the original High School Musical cast reunited via Zoom tonight to perform for Disney's Family Singalong. Though series stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, and Corbin Bleu were very much involved in the "We're All in This Together" performance, Zac Efron was missing from the musical number.
So, last night the cast of High School Musical got together and performed 'We're All In This Together' as part of the Disney Family Singalong special. Like, we're talking Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, and yes, even Zac Efron. Sounds too good to be true, right? Cool, because it is.
It was supposed to be a beautiful trip down the memory lane for Disney fans. However, Zac Efron did not seem to be on the same page. The actor joined his fellow cast members Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel for a sweet High School Musical reunion. The actors reunited digitally for ABC's The Disney Family Singalong on Thursday night. The video saw almost all the cast recreate the famous We're All In This Together song.
