On Tuesday night’s episode (October 11) contestants Thomas Hartley and Adrian Sanderson decided to bring their journey to an end, after mutually agreeing that they weren’t a good match, after weeks of trying to make their marriage work. Bowing out gracefully from the show, fans at home were quick to praise the pair for their mature, but emotional decision to call time on their relationship, while also shedding tears of sadness at having to wave goodbye to one of the most entertaining couples on the show.

Now the couple appear to have gone Instagram official, after sharing photographs on a sandy beach while enjoying some winter sun this Christmas.

Alex Scott, the 39 year old sports presenter, has shared a rare snap of herself and rumoured girlfriend Jess Glynne, 34, on Instagram.The pair were first linked in October and appeared to confirmed their romance with a public display of affection the following month. Last week, Alex attended the BBC's annual Sport Personality of the Year award where Mary Earps was crowned winner. Alex hosted the ceremony alongside Clare Balding, Gabby Logan and Gary Lineker.

Tuesday night's usual showing of EastEnders has been cancelled as BBC One's schedule was altered to make room for the Sports Personality of the Year awards. Disappointed fans of the soap may be happier to learn that there will be an extra episode on Friday to make up for the missing instalment.

The King and Queen unveiled statues of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance in the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday. In the documentary, Alessia says: "He rescued me, but I couldn't rescue him" to which it then showed the last photo of the couple together in the water as he risked his life to save her.

Naman Ramachandran British presenter, broadcaster, filmmaker, author and historian, professor David Olusoga, will be presented with a BAFTA Special Award at the upcoming BAFTA Television Awards on May 14. The BBC has unveiled its presenter line-up for King Charles III’s Coronation next month.

Kirsty Young and Huw Edwards have been named among the BBC’s presenting team for next month’s coronation celebrations.The corporation did not name veteran presenter David Dimbleby, who last year came out of retirement to cover the Queen’s funeral procession, as among those contributing to its live coverage of the “full glory” of the King and Queen Consort’s coronation in May. Former Question Time host Dimbleby, 84, has played a central role in the BBC’s political and royal coverage for several decades, including commenting on last year’s Platinum Jubilee service at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Channel 4 has temporarily taken A Place in the Sun off air in scheduling shake up. The much-loved property show sees its hosts Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton help guests find their dream homes abroad and leave their home in grey Britain behind. However, eagle eyed fans might have noticed that it's not been aired at its usual timings in the past few days.

A Place in the Sun has temporarily come off the air as the Channel 4 series is missing from daytime TV schedules over the next few days.

A four-part documentary series which is set to launch on Prime Video U.K. and Ireland from Sept. 23, “Horsepower” gives viewers a rare glimpse into the world of horce racing via its two protagonists, leading trainer Andrew Balding and his principal jockey Oisin Murphy as they compete over a nine month period culminating in the horse racing world’s most prestigious annual event: Royal Ascot. Audiences will get unprecedented behind the scenes access as they follow Balding (brother of sports host Clare Balding) and Murphy from fall 2020 to summer 2021, watching them train at Balding’s Hampshire stables and competing in events across the country. All seems lost, however, when Murphy tests positive for cocaine: will he be banned from the sport he loves or will he be able to re-build his once promising career?

However, the old black Jaguar she was travelling in unfortunately broke down as Prue was waving to the crowd, who gathered to catch a glimpse of some of the country’s national treasures.
