BBC have shared further details of their coverage for this month’s Glastonbury Festival.Last month it was revealed that the broadcaster will show sets live from Worthy Farm’s Pyramid Stage in Ultra High Definition (UHD) for the first time.Now, a full schedule for the week leading up to the festival and its Friday night (June 18-24) has been shared, with significant coverage across radio and television.BBC Music’s presenters for the festival include Lauren Laverne, Jo Wiley, Clara Amfo, Jack Saunders and Huw Stephens, while the pre-festival schedule includes a broadcast of Glastonbury: 50 Years & Counting, described as a “kaleidoscopic portrait of Glastonbury and its social and musical history is given through the testimony of its principal curators, Michael and Emily Eavis, as well as artists who have appeared there”.Contributors on the programme include Aswad, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Dua Lipa, Ed O’Brien, Fatboy Slim, Florence Welch, Johnny Marr, Linda Lewis, Orbital, Noel Gallagher, The Levellers, Thom Yorke and Stormzy.On Monday (June 20), Stormzy: Road to the Pyramid Stage will be broadcast on BBC One, a film “in which Stormzy reflects on the journey that led him to that iconic performance in 2019 at the festival”.See the full schedule for BBC’s Glastonbury coverage from June 18-24 below.

Channel 4 has announced The Big Breakfast will return this summer with hosts Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu.After the show was revived for a one-off special as part of Channel 4’s Black To Front day in September last year, the show has been commissioned for four episodes which will air in August.The Big Breakfast originally aired from 1992 to 2002, when it was hosted by the likes of Chris Evans, Richard Bacon, Gaby Roslin, Johnny Vaughn and Denise Van Outen.Vivienne Molokwu, Channel 4 senior commissioning editor, said: “I genuinely believe that the Black To Front Project unearthed one of the best presenting double acts that telly has seen in sometime in bringing Mo and AJ together for The Big Breakfast so it’s absolutely no surprise that we’re reuniting them for more early morning madness and making them a regular staple of our summer schedule.”Gilligan has presented The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan on Channel 4 since 2019. The Great British Bake Off, returns once again as a whole of host of stars take on baking challenges in an effort to raise money and awareness for Stand Up to Cancer. The Channel 4 series, which started on airing on Tuesday March 22, will see contestants take on a range of challenges including making decorated biscuits, a technical round involving making madeleines and an another round to showcase their secret baking talents.

TV star Emma Willis had Great British Bake Off fans in hysterics after accidentally making a batch of 'x-rated' biscuits during last night's Celebrity Special.The 46-year-old former Big Brother host - who is one of the first big names to take part in the brand new series of the Stand Up to Cancer editions - created some unfortunate shaped cookies for her Signature Bake, for which she was asked to make a set of edible animal biscuits. Alongside radio presenter Clara Amfo, Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison and Taskmaster funny-man Alex Horne, Emma attempted to shape some Viennese Whirls into a pair of rounded elephant ears and a colossal trunk in between.

Radio 1’s Big Weekend has added more artists to the line-up for its 2022 edition.Appearing on the main stage at the Coventry event on Sunday, May 29 will be Lorde, George Ezra, Dermot Kennedy, Mabel, Becky Hill and Jax Jones.It’s also been revealed that Sam Fender, Easy Life, Fontaines D.C., Sigrid, KSI, Mimi Webb and Tom Grennan are set to play on the Future Sounds stage on the Saturday (May 28).The new names follow the news that the likes of Ed Sheeran, Yungblud Calvin Harris and AJ Tracey will perform at Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2022.Confirming the latest additions today (March 16), Radio 1 said that “more huge names” for the festival are yet to be announced.
