Ian Harding just got the best birthday surprise of his life. The actor, 36, and his wife, Sophie Hart, welcomed a new baby into their family. The Pretty Little Liars star shared the happy news on Friday with a sweet photo of the newborn boy wearing a zebra print onesie and clasping his father's thumb.

A new rooftop cinema is set to screen a host of Christmas classic movies from Elf to Muppet’s Christmas Carol in the run up to the festive period. The season of movies will kick off on November 16 at Backyard Cinema, the immersive cinema experience that is setting up shop on the roof of Depot Mayfield, its first residency outside London.

Jefferson Mays’ one-man A Christmas Carol is coming to Broadway this holiday season, with a 66-performance engagement previewing at the Nederlander Theatre on Tuesday, November 8 with an official opening night set for Monday, November 21. The production runs through Sunday, January 1, 2023.

K.J. Yossman “Dodger,” the high-octane family drama based on Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist,” is set to return to the BBC for three specials. Production has just wrapped in Bristol on the three one-off episodes, which include a Christmas-themed offering, with Christopher Eccleston (“Doctor Who”) returning as Fagin and Billy Jenkins (“Peaky Blinders”) returning as the eponymous child pickpocket. Joe Otterson TV ReporterFX has ordered a limited series exclusively for Hulu from Steven Knight with Elisabeth Moss set to star, Variety has learned.Titled “The Veil,” the show is described as a thriller that explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost.“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Steven Knight on ‘The Veil’ and thrilled to have Elisabeth Moss sign on for the lead role,” said Nick Grad, president of original programming at FX. “Steven’s scripts are riveting and no doubt will showcase Elisabeth’s exceptional talent.” Knight is writing and executive producing “The Veil,” with Moss executive producing under her Love & Squalor Pictures banner.

With his very soul on the line, Scrooge has but one Christmas Eve left to face his past and build a better future.

Will Ferrell with a nod to the latter’s film Step Brothers.Posting on his TikTok page over the weekend, the Deadpool actor shared a clip of himself awkwardly holding back on when to start singing while ‘Por Ti Volaré’ plays in the background, writing: “Happy birthday, Will Ferrell!!!”.The clip alludes to a famous singing scene in the 2008 film where Ferrell’s character Brennan Huff takes to the stage with his stepbrother Dale (John C. Reilly) and performs the song.Last year, Ferrell and Reynolds teamed up for a TikTok harmony, the pair undertaking the ‘Grace Kelly’ trend while working on their Christmas film Spirited last year.

Plot details for the film are being kept under wraps.Other announced cast members include Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey and America Ferrera, although their roles are unknown.The film’s script is co-written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach (Frances Ha, Marriage Story).

Will Ferrell has rounded out the all-star cast of the Warner Bros film Barbie centered on the iconic doll line starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. America Ferrara, Kate McKinnon and Simu Liu are also on board with Greta Gerwig directing. Robbie is on board to play Barbie with Gosling set to play Ken. It is unknown who Ferrell will be playing.
