Camille Cottin is having quite a year. As more and more folks locked at home tuned into Call My Agent!(Dix pour cent), the Netflix series in which she stars, her profile has risen internationally. The comedy/drama about the trials and tribulations of a Parisian talent agency had already helped her score jobs in Hollywood films pre-pandemic, and now she’s definitely someone to keep an eye on as she continues to build an enviable cross-border resume.

The hard-working Cottin didn’t shoot to fame; she became one of France’s hottest actors in her late 30s, after appearing in numerous stage plays, shorts and TV series over more than 15 years.

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything from Academy Award winner Tom McCarthy, the director of “Spotlight,” and his dramatic thriller, “Stillwater” which was seemingly shot a long time ago, but delayed by the pandemic. Starring Matt Damon, Abigail Breslin and Camille Cottin, “Stilwater” centers on a father who travels from Oklahoma to France to help his daughter who has been arrested for murder.

Call My Agent! has confirmed its cast.Tony-winning actress Lydia Leonard will lead the cast as Rebecca, who will be loosely based on Camille Cottin’s character Andréa Martel – an executive at a leading Paris-based actors’ agency. She will face off against rival agents and picky clients played by Pirates Of The Caribbean actor Jack Davenport, Jim Broadbent, Killing Eve‘s Hiftu Quasem and Blackadder‘s Tim McInnerny.
