Sunday 27 March saw stars gather onto the red carpet of the 94th Academy Awards in Hollywood to celebrate the best in film- and fashion of course. With one of the biggest nights in the Hollywood calendar returning after the pandemic, we saw multiple celebrities take home the crown of 'best dressed' from Zendaya's Valentino two piece, to Lily James's pink Versace lace gown. Whilst we admired each of the attendee's immaculate outfit choices, there were a few prominent trends that swept the event.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons gave their children a shoutout while walking the red carpet for the 94th annual Academy Awards. The married couple, who are both nominated for their performances in The Power of the Dog, are parents to sons Ennis Howard, three, and James Robert, 10 months. During their interview with Oscars red carpet host Brandon Maxwell, Dunst explained that their children are watching the awards ceremony from Atlanta.

Jennifer Garner has arrived at the 2022 Oscars. The  actress stepped out for the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday donning a red strapless gown by Brandon Maxwell. Garner paired her stunning look with dangling earrings, a sparkly bracelet and several rings.During the show, Garner has the honor of presenting one of the awards, along with fellow stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel Zegler, Jason Momoa, Lady Gaga, J.K. The Oscars Red Carpet Show will be hosted this year by Vanessa Hudgens, Terrence J, and Brandon Maxwell, it was revealed on Wednesday by producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan. The 90-minute special kicks off on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. EDT/3:30 p.m. PDT via ABC.
