An officer in Cosby's prison tested positive for COVID-19

Bill Cosby’s spokesperson shared a lengthy note on the disgraced comedian’s Instagram page criticizing the justice system for convicting Harvey Weinstein. On Monday, a Manhattan jury found Weinstein guilty on two of five charges relating to sexual assaults, meaning he now faces as many as 25 years in prison.

Andrea Constand met Bill Cosby in 2002 when she was the director of operations for Temple University's women's basketball team. He took an immediate romantic interest in her, he said in a deposition three years later, and invited her to his house to talk "about personal situations dealing with her life, growth, education." Instead, Constand says, Cosby violated her trust in an unthinkable way: He drugged and sexually assaulted her at his mansion in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.

UPDATE: Bill Cosby is staying put in prison. Though the actor's legal team sought to overturn his conviction back in October 2018, a Pennsylvania court officially denied his bid on Tuesday and affirmed his conviction for three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
