In a new interview on The Bradshaw Boys podcast, Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell revealed that she once went on a date with John Corbett.Corbett played one of protagonist Carrie Bradshaw's love interests, Aidan Shaw, on the HBO show.Bushnell also said that it never would have worked out because of her mother's negative opinion of Aidan.If anyone's read Sex and the City, they'll be well aware that author Candace Bushnell and protagonist Carrie Bradshaw are basically the same person.
