Keanu Reeves‘ grunge rock band, Dogstar, are set to reunite for their first live performance in over two decades at BottleRock Napa Valley 2023.Earlier this month the band — comprising Reeves, Bret Domrose and Rob Mailhouse — shared that they are gearing up to release their first new music in 23 years.They released two albums, 1996’s ‘Our Little Visionary’ and 2000’s ‘Happy Ending’, before calling it quits in 2002. Reeves played bass in the band and interest in them grew at the same time his acting career started to take off.

BreAnna Bell Fresh off of her turn in Amazon’s “Swarm,” Heather Alicia Simms has joined Gabourey Sidibe’s “1266” pilot at Onyx Collective as a recurring guest star. She’ll portray Lashanna. According to her official character description, Lashanna is Imagine Inc.’s most dichotomous employee: a phone sex worker who is a very religious Christian with quite conservative views on sexuality. She has photos of her kids and grandkids on her wall and is proud of the fact that most of her money goes to tithes and taking care of her grandkids. She joins previously announced cast members Karim Diané, Kristin Dodson, and Kassandra Lee Diaz as series regulars to star alongside Sidibe, who will executive produce and play the lead role of Gabby. It may have been when the waiter was describing the veal marrow with beat foam served with baby lettuces from New Zealand. It may have been when you were eating the red snapper that was cooked halfway through, like a rare steak, and you thought, “I love sushi, I love cooked fish, but I’m not sure this is really the best of both worlds.” It may have been when you saw the bill. Whatever the trigger, that was the moment you looked up from your plate and realized that high-end foodie culture has become a serious annoyance. It’s gotten too fussy, too pricey, too full of itself, too not filling (of yourself), too avant-garde and conceptual, too tied to The Salvation of the Planet, too much of an ordeal. Did I mention too pricey? It used to be that if you wanted to ridicule culinary mania, you mocked someone like Guy Fieri. But he has risen from the ashes of infamy to a kind of born-again respectability (and yes, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” was always a great show). Now, if you want to ridicule culinary mania, the most natural targets are restaurants like The French Laundry in Napa Valley or Bros’ in Southern Italy, places where the 12-course “tasting menu” can inspire you to think, as one blogger put it, that “there was nothing even close to an actual meal served.”

Britney Spears' ex-husband is again in trouble with the law. Jason Alexander, who famously married Britney in Las Vegas in 2004, is wanted by California police after skipping out on a court date in Napa County. The pop star's ex was set to appear in front of a judge in wine country on Tuesday, Sept. 13 on two felony charges of grand theft and buying/receiving stolen property, TMZ said.

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander was reportedly booked into the  Napa County Department of Corrections on two felony charges related to an alleged bracelet theft in 2015.  The charges are separate from his misdemeanor battery and trespass conviction from Spears’ June wedding to Sam Asghari for which he served a 64-day sentence in Ventura County.  Alexander was removed from the Ventura jail to the Napa County jail by authorities on Tuesday on the arrest warrant for grand theft with the value exceeding $400 and buying/receiving stolen property issued in 2016, FOX 2 in the Bay Area reported.  Alexander, who was infamously married to the "Toxic" singer for 55 hours in 2004, allegedly swiped the $2,000 bracelet from a home in Napa, according to TMZ.  Jason Alexander was booked into the Napa County jail on Tuesday in connection to a 2016 felony arrest warrant.  (Napa County Department of Correction) He allegedly admitted to stealing the diamond bracelet and pawning it from a woman's home where he had been staying for a few weeks at the time, police said.  He pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charges connected to Spears’ wedding on Thursday and was credited with time served.  Britney Spears and Jason Alexander were married for 55 hours in 2004.  (Getty Images) The 40-year-old was arrested at Spears’ home on June 9 after attempting to crash her wedding and has remained in jail.  He is also under a criminal protective order, meaning he is barred from being within 100 yards of Spears and the security guard involved.  His bail for the felony charge has been set at $20,000, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
