20th Digital Studio and Hulu Originals are gearing up for the SXSW World Premiere of Appendage, a horror comedy starring Hadley Robinson (Little Women, I’m Thinking of Ending Things) and featuring Kausar Mohammed (The Flash, 4400) and Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek). Shot in North Carolina and New York, the film, directed and written by Anna Zlokovic, will debut exclusively at the South by Southwest Film and TV Festival in March. It will be available to stream on Hulu later this year.

 Anna Faris is making career moves.The 46-year-old actress has signed with mega-agency CAA, which boasts A-list clients like Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and Reese Witherspoon. She has signed with the agency in the past and is putting her trust in them again to further her career after a two-year acting hiatus and a recent flop at the box office with The Estate.  Making movies: Anna Faris (pictured above in 2018) has re-signed with agency CAA alongside clients such as Reese WitherspoonFaris starred alongside Allison Janney in the hit CBS sitcom Mom from 2013 to 2020 playing a newly sober single mom trying to get her life back together after moving in with her own mom (Janney). The House Bunny star left the series in a shock exit after seven seasons and CBS cancelled the show shortly after, airing just one more season after her departure. The move to new representation comes at an interesting time. She took a two-year break after leaving her sitcom and her latest dark comedy The Estate, co-starring Toni Collette and David Duchovny, received poor reviews and has a 29 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.Besides her film and television career, she also hosts a successful podcast called Unqualified.
