Billie Eilish praised for flying economy class

Billie Eilish has been praised by her fans for choosing to fly economy class despite her being a famous singer.A viral video posted on TikTok shows the moment in which a fan seated in economy class on a flight spotted the back of Eilish’s hat a few rows ahead of them on a Brussels Airlines flight. The hat, which was adorned with blue stars, matched the same one the pop artist was sporting on a recent Instagram story she had uploaded onto her account that showed her sitting on a flight with overhead lockers in view.“Pov: you’re in a plane with Billie (Still can’t believe wtf just happened),” read the caption of the TikTok video. Fans immediately swarmed the comment section both stunned and in awe that the star was not in business class.Pov: you’re in a plane with Billie (Still cant believe wtf just happened) #billieeilish #billie #finneas #billieelishfan #billieeilishedits #billieeilishconcert #billieeilishszigetfestival #billieeilishpukkelpop #maggiebaird #patrickoconnell ♬ Beyonce x My Husband x Casa Di Remix – CasaDi One user commented: “For this long I thought billie was flying on a private jet [SIC]’ while another user shared: “I would just go to the bathroom in the front every 5 minutes to look at her.” The original video uploader responded to that comment by claiming he did try, but staff told him he could “only use the bathroom at the back.”Another user shared: ” I actually love that she has the money for a private jet but doesn’t do,” while someone else commented: “Guys, she doesn’t fly that much on private jets bc she’s actually doing something for our environment lmao.”Eilish has been focused on caring for the environment for years now.

If art is creativity plus proficiency plus chance, Fievel Is Glauque are exemplars of its purist form. During their trans-Atlantic “writing trips,” generally held when multi-instrumentalist Zach Phillips and singer Ma Clement visit each other in Brooklyn and Brussels, respectively, they take a spontaneous yet controlled approach, starting and finishing a song each day, with Phillips constructing intricate arrangements to Clement’s angular melodies, one bar at a time.

‘The Falling Star’ Review: Abel and Gordon Stumble With Odd Blend of Silent Comedy and Film Noir

Peter Debruge Chief Film Critic Next time someone wistfully insists, “They don’t make ’em like they used to,” why not point that nostalgic cinephile to the work of Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon? The Belgium-based creative couple are almost single-handedly keeping the classic burlesque tradition alive on screen — if the word “single-handedly” can fairly be used to describe a near-silent comic duo with four hands between them, plus a growing company of collaborators (including dancer Kaori Ito) and a prosthetic arm with a mind of its own. In “The Falling Star,” Abel and Gordon bring their old-school comedic sensibility to what could loosely be described as a detective story, told in a film noir style punctuated with flashes of color: a red dress, a tiny green car, a bright yellow scooter.

Geopolitical Thriller ‘The Seed’ Tackles Big Business With Genre Intrigue

Ben Croll Winner of the audience award and prize for best creation at this year’s Monte-Carlo Television Festival, six-part drama “The Seed” mixes Scandi-noir, ecological concerns and corridors-of-power intrigue into a tense geopolitical thriller that turns around the most elemental of concerns. “Beneath all the thriller convention we explore this question of who feeds the world,” says show creator Christian Jeltsch. “Because whoever feeds the world has a hold on political power, and today only three companies supply us all.” The seeds (ahem) of the idea were planted years ago, when Jeltsch read about mercenaries destroying a seed vault in Aleppo and connected the idea to the very real Svalbard Global Seed Vault just off the North Pole. The wheels began turning, the seeds took to sprouting, and soon the show-writer had a narrative full of international intrigue that begins when a young German activist goes missing on the Norwegian northern archipelago.
