Morrissey announces full dates and venues for 2022 UK tour

Morrissey has shared full details of dates and venues for his forthcoming UK tour.Last week, the former Smiths star announced nine forthcoming shows in Blackpool, Doncaster, Glasgow, Stockton, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Brighton along with his previously announced concert in Ireland.Now, he has given a further update on the tour on his Instagram page. The jaunt will see Morrissey kick off the tour at the Gleneagles INEC Arena in Killarney on September 24 before wrapping up at Brighton Centre on October 14.The tour will also include two London dates at the capital’s Coliseum and the O2 Academy Brixton on October 9 and 11.

Blade Runner Live has announced a number of new tour dates across the UK.The classic Ridley Scott sci-fi film’s Final Cut version is set to play in venues across the country in September accompanied by The Avex Ensemble, which will showcase the film’s classic Vangelis score.Starting at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo on September 18, the tour will include stops including Manchester’s O2 Apollo and London’s Eventim Apollo, before concluding at Bournemouth’s International Centre on September 28.Tickets will go on sale this Friday (March 22) at 10am – and can be found here.“AEG Artistic is thrilled to be presenting Blade Runner Live across the UK next September,” said AEG Presents artistic director Lucy Noble.“It’s amazing after 42 years the film and soundtrack still stand the test of time. Stereophonics have joined the legion of bands and artists paying tribute to the Foo Fighters’ late drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died on Friday (March 25) at the age of 50.Currently touring in support of their 12th studio album, ‘Oochya!’ – which landed earlier this month – the Welsh band performed at the Brighton Centre last night (March 26). There, they delivered a pared-back, ballad-esque rendition of the Foo Fighters’ 2005 hit ‘Best Of You’, dedicated, in Hawkins’ memory, to the Foo Fighters and their families.Introducing the track, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones noted that they’d “met Taylor a few times”, and pensively noted that “we’ve all been in that position in this band, where we’ve lost a band member”.

Thom Yorke has added more dates to his world tour, and announced a rescheduled date and location for his Glasgow show.The Radiohead frontman, who released his third solo album ‘ANIMA‘ last year, was in May forced to move his summer 2020 UK/European dates to summer 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak.In addition to this, Yorke has now added fresh dates at Le Zénith in Paris, France on June 20, 2021, and the Brighton Centre in Brighton, England on June 23, 2021.
