The mastermind writer and producer behind shows like Dallas and Knots Landing, David Jacobs, has died at the age of 84 following a years-long battle with Alzheimer's disease. His son Aaron announced in the Hollywood Reporter that his dad passed away on Sunday, 20 August, at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. According to his family, a series of infections were too much for him to handle which led to his passing.The TV icon was born in Baltimore on 12 August, 1939.

Michael Oher made it known that he wasn't a fan of long before he filed his lawsuit. Earlier this week, the former NFL player filed a lawsuit against Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy, the couple that took him in as a teen, as was depicted in the 2009 Oscar-nominated film .In his 2011 memoir,, Oher expressed his issues with how the movie portrayed him,«I felt like it portrayed me as dumb instead of as a kid who had never had consistent academic instruction and ended up thriving once he got it,» he wrote, before praising the actor that played him, "Quinton Aaron did a great job acting the part.«Oher's other problem with the film, which starred Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw, was that it made it appear that he didn't know about football before the Tuohys, who have two biological children, Collins and S.J., took him in.

A day after Michael Oher, the former NFL player and subject of the 2009 movie The Blind Side, alleged in a court filing that the family who took him in as a young player had deceived him about being adopted and deprived him of earnings from the Oscar-nominated film, the family has hit back.
Sandra Bullock. Huh?In a lawsuit filed Monday by the former Baltimore Ravens star, Michael said Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy never adopted him, as the popular movie suggests. In fact, he said it was more sinister.

In his petition to end the conservatorship, Tuohy also alleges that the Tuohy family received profits from the Academy Award-winning film, but that he did not.
