Emmerdale viewers were excited in tonight's episode, 18 October, as resident bad boy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) finally got involved in Lydia Dingle's rape storyline at the hands of evil Craig Reed. Sam Dingle (James Hooton) continued to struggle with how best to proceed in the aftermath of discovering what had happened to his beloved wife Lydia, becoming upset during a routine visit to Home Farm. Realising that Sam needed the help of his family, Will called on Cain and told him to come and speak to his brother.
