Check out the star-studded music video below.The single is the fourth track to be shared from their upcoming album, and sees the members highlight the negative consequences of becoming immersed in the endless “angering, addictive and anxiety-inducing TV news cycles”.It also sees the trio – comprised of Ian Devaney, Aidan Noell and Alex MacKay – satirise what they see as “outrageous” television broadcasts, developing a video starring Emmy-nominated actor Jimmi Simpson (Westworld, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia), as well as fellow musicians Reggie Watts, Kevin Morby, Tomberlin, Moldy Peaches’ Adam Green, and LVL UP’s Greg Rutkin.Various family members and friends also star in the visual accompaniment, with the band playing their synth-driven uplifting melodies over the top.

Mumford & Sons, Janelle Monáe and The Offspring are among the final raft of artists who have been added to the line-up for Mad Cool 2023.The festival will return to Madrid between July 6-8, with headliners including Robbie Williams, Lizzo, Queens Of The Stone Age, Liam Gallagher, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more.Mumford & Sons, Janelle Monáe and The Offspring have all been added to the headlining bill for this year, while another 46 new artists have also been added to Mad Cool 2023’s line-up. Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby have dropped covers of two songs by Broadcast and Guided by Voices on Bandcamp. All funds from the downloads are going to the Vote No Kansas PAC, an organization raising awareness of the “Value Them Both” amendment which would allow the state legislature to ban abortion. An election on the amendment will take place on August 2 with Vote No Kansas working to educate local voters on what is at stake.

Stevie Nicks, Jack White and Pink have been announced to headline Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival in California this autumn.Vedder, who will also play a solo headline set, topped the bill on all three nights of last year’s event after it returned following a one-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic.The festival at Dana Point will also feature Broken Social Scene performing ‘You Forgot It In People’, and other sets by St. Vincent, Khruangbin, Brittany Howard, Manchester Orchestra, Kevin Morby, Gang Of Youths, Bomba Estereo, Noga Erez, Billy Strings and many others.Ohana Festival, which launched in 2016, runs from August 30-September 2, 2022. Kevin Morby has shared a new song alongside details of his seventh studio album and a world tour. "This Is A Photograph" is the lead single of an album of the same name, due May 13 via Dead Oceans. This Is A Photograph is Morby's follow-up to 2020 album Sundowner.

Kevin Morby and Hamilton Leithauser have shared covers of each other’s songs and announced a joint US tour.The indie artists took to their respective Instagram accounts earlier this week to post each other’s renditions of their tracks.

Kevin Morby has released ‘Dumcane’, an outtake from his 2016 album ‘Singing Saw’ to mark its fifth anniversary.In a post on Instagram, Morby said he took ‘Dumcane’ to the recording sessions for ‘Singing Saw’, but it didn’t make the cut because it “wasn’t feeling quite right sitting next to the other songs”.

Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee are the latest musicians to appear on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series, filming from Morby’s home in Kansas City. They played four songs: two off Katie Crutchfield’s recent record Saint Cloud, (“Fire” and “Lilacs” ), Morby’s 2016 track “Beautiful Strangers,” and a cover of Songs: Ohia’s “Farewell Transmission.” Watch the video below.

Consequence of Sound has announced Angel from Maywood: A Livestream Tribute to John Prine. The homage to Prine, who died earlier this week, will feature performances by the Decemberists' Colin Meloy, Kevin Morby, the Mountain Goats’ John Darnielle, Grace Potter, Norah Jones, the Head and the Heart, Lake Street Dive, and more. The tribute will stream on Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. Eastern on CoS’ Instagram account.
