And although he has stepped down from This Morning, it seems that Phil's relationship with ITV has not come to an end, with the presenter reportedly set to continue his hosting duties on Dancing On Ice, with or without his co-host.

The news comes as the beloved television presenter stepped down from the channel's flagship morning show, This Morning, after 21 years on the presenting sofa, 14 years of which were with pal and Dancing On Ice co-host Holly Willoughby. Much to fans' surprise, the This Morning episode which aired on Thursday, May 18, will act as Phillip's last episode as he is not set to appear on the programme to say goodbye to viewers or colleagues now his exit has been confirmed with "immediate effect".

Ant & Dec are to take an indefinite break from Saturday Night Takeaway following next year’s 20th series.

Yossman ITV primetime hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly – better known by their joint moniker Ant and Dec – have said they plan to “take a break” from their long-running variety show “Saturday Night Takeaway.” The duo have hosted 19 seasons of the show, which features entertainment and quiz segments, since it launched in 2002. It is produced by ITV Studios-owned Lifted Entertainment and Mitre Studios This doesn’t spell the end for “Saturday Night Takeaway” however. In 2009 the two hosts also took a break from the show before returning four years later. Broadcaster ITV – which recently extended its deal with the duo for a reported £30 million ($37 million) for three years – reassured viewers Ant and Dec would continue to front other primetime shows including “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!,” “Britain’s Got Talent” and “Limitless Win.”

The summer series of Love Island is reportedly set to air in just a few weeks time.The most recent season of the popular ITV2 show came to an end in March, with the new series said to be returning to screens on 5 June. New host Maya Jama will be returning to the show by popular demand after she replaced Laura Whitmore, who stepped down from her hosting duties last year. As usual, the summer series will be filmed in Majorca.

ITV has revealed the air date for Paul O’Grady’s For The Love Of Dogs show following his sudden death earlier this week. National treasure and activist Paul, who made his big break as Drag Queen Lily Savage, tragically passed away on Wednesday.

ITV's schedule for the coming weeks has been changed in order to pay tribute to late TV presenter Paul O'Grady, who passed away on 28 March aged 67. News of Paul's passing broke on Wednesday morning, with the late star's husband Andre Portasio announcing the sad news in a statement. In light of the news, ITV has switched up its schedule to allow for a tribute to be aired for Paul, as well as For the Love of Dogs: A Royal Special to be aired again.

At 5pm U.K. time on March 29 “Paul O’Grady’s For the Love of Dogs: A Royal Special” will be repeated on ITV1, replacing the repeat of “The Chase.” At 8pm U.K. time on April 9, ITV will broadcast “For the Love of Paul O’Grady” on ITV1, in tribute to the departed comedian. At 8:30pm on April 13, the new season of “Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs” will air on ITV1, as planned.

Manori Ravindran Executive Editor of International British media editor Juliana Koranteng, a well-respected freelancer in the U.K. journalism community and the founder of JayKay Media Consultancy, has died. She was 64. The Broadcasting Press Guild, of which Koranteng was a member, confirmed on Wednesday that Koranteng died in February following a short illness. “Juliana regularly attended our lunches and breakfasts – most recently, the Kevin Lygo lunch in December 2022 – and lit them up with her shining presence and well-informed questions,” said the BPG in a statement on Wednesday. BPG chair Grant Tucker added: “We had a lovely catch up at the Christmas lunch in December. She was always such a bright personality at every BPG event I attended. She will be much missed.”

Jeremy Clarkson has denied that he’s been “sacked” as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?ITV boss Carolyn McCall recently confirmed to Variety the channel has “no future commitments” with Clarkson beyond the quiz show’s next series, indicating it could be the presenter’s last.“We have a contract. The British version of the iconic reality TV series is set to return to screens this year after what will be a five-year hiatus on network ITV2 and streaming platform ITVX. From its launch in 2000 until 2010 the show aired on Channel 4 before moving to Channel 5 in 2011. It ran there for seven years until Channel 5 finally retired the format in 2018.  Speaking to the media during an earnings call after ITV declared its 2022 financial results, Lygo said: “The key to ‘Big Brother’ is to keep it like it was in its golden period – to have it more interesting, intelligent, upmarket etc. than other reality shows. It’s a great addition to have in the autumn [fall] period.”

ITV boss Carolyn McCall tells Variety that the forthcoming season of the game show, which is currently in production, will be Clarkson’s final foray as host. The “Grand Tour” presenter has been at the center of a media firestorm over his December column in British tabloid The Sun. In the piece, which is currently being investigated by British media regulator IPSO, Clarkson said the Duchess of Sussex should be forced to parade the streets naked with “lumps of excrement thrown at her.”
