Caroline Brew editor Podcast producer Glisten+ (a portmanteau of “great” and “listen”) launched Tuesday with two initial programs, part of a larger slate of scripted fare that it plans to roll out in the coming months. The first original series include the young adult-geared “Can’t Relax,” about a relaxation app that secretly places murderous messages into the brains of its teen listeners.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Peri Gilpin is the latest original “Frasier” cast member to join the series’ revival at Paramount+. Gilpin will guest star in an episode of the series, reprising the role of Roz, whom she played throughout the original show’s 11-season run on NBC. As previously announced, Kelsey Grammer will reprise the role of Frasier Crane, with Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salgueiro, and Anders Keith also starring. Bebe Neuwirth will guest star in one episode as Dr. Lilith Sternin. The revival series will take place in Boston, which was the setting for “Cheers.” The official logline states, “Frasier is off to a different city with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!”

Funny lady! Annie Murphy has been acting since 2007 but it wasn’t until she began playing Alexis Rose on Schitt’s Creek that she became a household name.

The American Cinema Editors has stitched together a date for its 2023 ACE Eddie Awards. The 73rd annual gala is set for Sunday, March 5, at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Westwood.

“Outlander” and “La Brea” — but NBC’s reboot of “Quantum Leap” doesn’t quite capture the spirit of its predecessor.That series aired for five seasons (1989-93) on NBC with stars Scott Bakula as time-jumping Dr. Sam Beckett and Dean Stockwell as Al, the cigar-chomping wiseguy hologram tasked with guiding Sam through his tricky missions after assuming someone else’s identity — and saving the day — as he bounced back and forth in time.This new version of “Quantum Leap” references the original show — both Bakula and Stockwell are seen, though not as in-the-flesh characters, and the series opener is dedicated to Stockwell, who died last November.

Getting very meta. Erinn Hayes has joined the second season of Kevin Can F**k Himself — after her previous firing from Kevin Can Wait.

Selome Hailu AMC announced that Erinn Hayes is set as a guest star for Season 2 of “Kevin Can F**k Himself.” Character details remain under wraps.Hayes is best known for starring as Dr. Lola Spratt in “Chidrens Hospital,” the TheWB.com and later Adult Swim sitcom that parodies medical dramas such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “General Hospital.” She also plays Lola in “Medical Police,” Netflix’s spinoff of the series.But another of Hayes’ prominent roles was playing Donna Gable, Kevin Gable’s (Kevin James) wife in the CBS sitcom “Kevin Can Wait.” In 2017, Hayes’s character was killed off to make room for Leah Remini to become a series regular as Vanessa Cellucci.“The character will have passed away and we will be moving forward in time catching up at a later date,” said CBS programming boss Thom Sherman at TCA press tour when explaining why Hayes had not been cast in Season 2 of “Kevin Can Wait.” “Obviously the chemistry between Kevin and Leah was amazing in the stunt episode we did at the end of last season, and we decided we want to continue that.” Hayes confirmed that it was not her call her call to leave the show.

This is a pretty meta casting — Kevin Can Wait alum Erinn Hayes is set to guest star on the upcoming second and final season of AMC’s Kevin Can F**k Himself. Hayes will appear in an as-yet undisclosed role alongside series stars Annie Murphy, Mary Hollis Inboden, Eric Petersen and Alex Bonifer.
