21 Savage has revealed that the trailer for the biopic about his life is fake.The rapper hinted to fans that a biopic about his life, entitled American Dream, was on the way earlier this month – dropping a new music video that also doubled up as a film trailer.The clip, which was co-directed by Atlanta collaborators Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori and Fam Udeorji, alongside Luis Perez, featured Donald Glover and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin playing 21 Savage at different ages.It began with a young Savage (played by McLaughlin), depicting the rapper’s experience of being bullied in school before entering the rap scene. From there, Savage is seen in what looks like an interrogation room, talking to McLaughlin as he eventually becomes Glover, who plays an adult version of him.Now, the rapper has confirmed in a new interview that there will not be any upcoming biopic and the trailer shared was a hoax.“No, that was a parody,” Savage told Shannon Sharpe when asked about the project during an interview with the podcast Club Shay Shay on Wednesday (January 24).Alongside starring Glover and McLaughlin, it also featured a cameo from Natasha Lyonne and an accompanying movie poster.While Savage confirmed that a film based on his life won’t be arriving in cinemas any time soon, he did reveal that he hasn’t written off the possibility of a project arriving in the future.“It’s the American dream.

21 Savage has unveiled a new trailer for his upcoming biopic – starring appearances from Donald Glover and Caleb McLaughlin. Check it out below.The forthcoming project is titled American Dream: The 21 Savage Story and is set to follow the life and career of the rapper, as well as the struggles he has faced along the way.In the new trailer, three generations of 21 Savage are depicted, each “in the heat of a personal crisis” at that stage in his life.

21 Savage has shared a music video that purportedly doubles as the first official trailer for American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, a feature film about his life, with Donald Glover taking the role of 21 in the present and Stranger Things’ Caleb McLaughlin playing the rapper’s younger self. Donald’s younger brother Stephen Glover, who wrote for his elder sibling’s hit FX series Atlanta, is listed as the first of four directors in the clip’s credits.

On the red carpet for the new “Stranger Things” play in London, the duo went on record to Metro saying the series will not end with a reveal that all the events in the Upside Down were just a dream. One fan theory about the “Stranger Things” ending alleges all the events on screen during the show’s run were actually just the main characters playing an elaborate and very long game of Dungeons and Dragons, a favorite among the characters since the show’s first season.

Stranger Things‘ final season will begin production in January, sources have suggested.Deadline reports that production on the hit Netflix show is expected to start in early January, but that date is still subject to change. January 8 is reportedly a target date, with January 5 also being mentioned.The cast are believed to be in Atlanta, where the show is filmed, for prep work and table reads in the next couple of weeks.Filming was slated to start earlier this year but was delayed by over seven months due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
