It’s official: Deadline reports that Lionsgate will delay the release of the upcoming “John Wick” spinoff “Ballerina” with Ana de Armas for a year. The film now opens in theaters on June 6, 2025 as opposed to its initial June 7 release.

Two fans of Ana de Armas finally settled their lawsuit over the Yesterday debacle.

A federal judge initially sided with them, finding that movie trailers are not immune from false advertising claims.

The move comes as John Wick architect Chad Stahelski has inked a new deal with Lionsgate to oversee the franchise. He’s working with Ballerina director Len Wiseman on additional action sequences for the movie, to amp it up even more than it is.
