Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music CriticIn a further test of whether he will be able to pick up his career somewhere in the vicinity of where it left off amid misconduct allegations three years ago, Ryan Adams has announced a tour of eight cities in the Midwest and South, following up on a run of five cities in the Northeast he completed in May.The mini-tour of mid-sized halls begins Oct. 14 with a stop at Atlanta’s 2,600-seat Tabernacle and wraps up in the almost identically sized Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa Oct.

Foals will head out on a tour of North America in support of their new album ‘Life Is Yours’ in October, the band have announced.The jaunt will mark the first time the Oxford band have played live in the US and Canada since taking their ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ tour there in 2019.The band will kick off the new tour at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 28, with the run continuing throughout November and December. It will conclude at the State Theatre in Portland, ME on December 18.“We can’t wait to play again for you,” Foals wrote on Twitter.

Katherine Tulich The Sydney Film Festival has completed the selection for its first full in-person edition in three years with a strong Australian lineup and a smattering of Cannes titles. The 2022 edition runs June 8 – 19, 2022.After COVID disruptions saw the 2021 edition delayed from June until November, it has been a quick six-month turnaround to return the 2022 festival to its regular winter slot.

Kraftwerk have added further dates to their upcoming 2022 North American tour – you can see the new dates below and buy tickets here.The German electronic pioneers are set to kick-off the North American leg of their renowned ‘3D Tour’ in May, starting in St. Louis on May 27 and finishing in Vancouver on July 10.Following the tour’s initial announcement, Kraftwerk have now announced an expanded itinerary that includes the addition of new shows in New Brunswick, NJ; New Haven, CT; and Bentonville, AK.Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale Friday (April 1) here.
