Aaron Stanford is returning to the MCU, as it was revealed in the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer released during the Super Bowl on Sunday. He is reprising the role of Pyro, which he portrayed in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand.

Twisters premiered during the Super Bowl 2024 tonight (February 11), giving a first look at the upcoming sequel.The new movie is a follow-up to 1996’s Twister, which followed meteorologist Jo Harding (played by Helen Hunt) as she chases storms – and throws herself and her family into danger.Minari director Lee Isaac Chung has helmed the new sequel, Twisters, which stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell.In the first trailer, Edgar-Jones and Powell are seemingly part of two rival storm-chasing teams, with both groups driving through the eye of destructive tornadoes. “You don’t face your fears,” Powell tells Edgar-Jones at one point.

Ethan Shanfeld “The Color Purple” will make its streaming debut on Max on Feb. 16.

It looks like Joel Edgerton has another drama in the vein of “The Boys In The Boat” and “Thirteen Lives” up next. The actor will co-star with Felicity Jones in “Train Dreams,” Black Bear‘s adaptation of Denis Johnson‘s 2011 novella.

First announced way back in 2018, it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Duncan Jones’ “Rogue Trooper” film. The sci-fi animated film is apparently very much still in production, and now, we know who will be lending their voices for the film.  According to Variety, Aneurin Barnard, Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden are leading the cast for the upcoming sci-fi film, “Rogue Trooper,” written and directed by Duncan Jones.

He returned to work the day after Vicky died, but after falling ill during his most recent live performance, he's stepped back from all public engagements.
