EXCLUSIVE: Apple Original Films And Skydance Media’s partnership looks to be building on its already strong slate with another A-list star at the center of it. Sources tell Deadline, Apple has landed The Family Plan, a new action-comedy feature from Skydance Media, starring Academy Award-nominee Mark Wahlberg with Simon Cellan Jones directing. The film will reunite Wahlberg with director Jones following their recent collaboration on Arthur the King.

Angelica Ross is set to become the first transgender actress to play Roxie Hart in 'Chicago'. The 41-year-old 'Pose' star will make her Broadway debut in the long-running musical later this year, playing murderous vixen Roxie for eight weeks from September 12. Actresses who have previously played Roxie include Pamela Anderson, Melanie Griffith, Christie Brinkley, Marilu Henner, Brooke Shields and Lisa Rinna.

Hüsker Dü bassist Greg Norton has been diagnosed with cancer, the musician has disclosed on social media.“At the beginning of June, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer,” Norton wrote in a post on Facebook last Friday (July 1). “My doctors at the Mayo Clinic believe I have excellent odds, but we need to get in right away and move forward with treatment and surgery.”Norton went on to say that his band, UltraBomb, has cancelled planned tour dates in the UK and would be postponing North American dates, in order to allow him “time to recover and return in full force”.Friends of Norton have launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist with his medical costs.
