Melanie Lynskey joined her fellow "Yellowjackets" co-stars for a new interview where the actress discussed the body shaming she experienced early in her career while filming "Coyote Ugly."  Lynskey played Gloria in the 2000 comedy about a songwriter Violet Sanford (played by Piper Perabo) who gets a job at an NYC bar run by women.  Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci were the others participating in the interview with The Hollywood Reporter where Lynskey discussed her experience filming "Coyote Ugly."  When describing the beginning of her career playing the "best friend from Jersey" in "Ugly Coyote" she told the outlet. "I was already starving myself and as thin as I could possibly be for this body, and I was still a (size) four."  Lynskey continued and said "that were already people putting a lot of Spanx on me in wardrobe fittings and being very disappointed when they saw me, the costume designer being like, ‘Nobody told me there would be girls like you.’ Really intense feedback about my physicality, my body, people doing my makeup and being like, ‘I’m just going to help you out by giving you a bit more of a jawline and stuff." Kendrick Lamar has responded to footage of a security guard being brought to tears during one of his recent performances.In a clip that was shared on TikTok and has since gone viral, the security guard can be seen wiping tears away while Lamar performs his ‘DAMN.’ cut ‘Love’ at a show in Houston, Texas. The guard can then be seen rapping along to the lyric, “I’m like an exit away.”During a local TV interview, the guard, whose name is Devyn Sanford, later explained what he went through.

Taurean Blacque, an Emmy-nominated actor and star of hit '80s show "Hill Street Blues," has died. He was 82.  Blacque died following a brief battle with an undisclosed illness, his family said Thursday.  Born and raised in New Jersey, Blacque began studying acting in New York, where his training helped him land small roles on many popular television shows, including "Sanford and Son," "The Bob Newhart Show," "Good Times," "Taxi" and "What’s Happening!!" Taurean Blacque had a lot of guest starring roles on several shows before making it big on "Hill Street Blues." But Caan's work with Coppola, and in front of the camera, began years before.
