pub worker's nose after being kicked out a popular Celtic bar.Scott Simpson headbutted Kirsty Hanlon, 24, during the incident at Grace's in Glasgow's Merchant City on May 5 2019.The 32 year-old now faces jail after he pled guilty to assaulting the bar supervisor to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement.Glasgow Sheriff Court heard how drunken Simpson had been staggering about the pub.He then became aggressive and was ordered to get out by security.But, prosecutor Claire Wallace said:

Glasgow taxi had her ear bitten off, a court was told. Gillian Furphy was punched three times by 22-year-old Amy McInulty who then bit off a chunk of her ear which ended up on the floor of the cab.Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that McInulty, her sister and Miss Furphy were all in a taxi on Glassford Street in the Merchant City, heading to a nightclub when the brutal attack took place.

Glasgow has revealed plans for what they are calling the city's 'most Glaswegian beer garden'.Glasgow Beer Works (GBW), which were formerly known as Merchant City Brewing, unveiled plans for an outdoor space for up to 80 guests situated under the famous John Byrne Billy Connolly mural on Osbourne Street close to the Merchant City.The team at GBW added that they have been working with a selection of Glasgow’s favourite street food vendors, Salt N Chilli, Muerte Por Churros and Fire Dog Gourmet
