Zendaya, Sia, Maddie Ziegler Join Labrinth for Coachella 2023 Surprise

Zendaya made a rare live appearance at Coachella this weekend, performing two songs with Labrinth during the British artist's set at the California festival. Labrinth, who writes the music for Euphoria, the hit show starring Zendaya, brought the actress and singer out to perform their songs "I'm Tired" and "All For Us." Coachella 2023 Weekend 2 kicks off today (April 21), with Blink-182 headlining in Frank Ocean’s stead, followed (confusingly) by a festival-closing DJ set from Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred Again... The undercard filled with FADER favorites: Björk, Weyes Blood, Alex G, Kali Uchis, GloRilla, Sudan Archives, Christine and the Queens, and others.

Coachella 2023 Weekend 2 continues today (April 22), with BLACKPINK headlining and many more FADER favorites filling out the undercard: Jai Paul will play his second-ever live show, following a successful weekend one performance, with Rosalía, Charli XCX, Yaeji, Ethel Cain, and others also on the bill. Coachella 2023 is streaming live from the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California to anyone with internet access, with six of the festival’s seven stages surveillable via YouTube.

Zendaya fans got the surprise of a lifetime when the  star joined Labrinth during his set at Coachella Saturday.The 26-year-old singer-actress performed the final two songs of his set — «I'm Tired» and «All for Us,» the first of which was featured in the HBO series. The epic surprise marked Zendaya's first live performance in seven years.Zendaya was festival-chic for the appearance, wearing her hair in a long, wavy style, while sporting a pink dress that featured a corset bodice and a white tank top underneath. She paired the look with thigh-high black boots, silver hoop earrings and a ring.The Emmy-winner took to her Instagram Stories following the performance to express her gratitude to Labrinth for letting her join him on stage for what she called a «magical night.»«Thank you to my brother @labrinth for inviting me and giving me the most beautiful safe space to be on a stage again,» Zendaya wrote.

Coachella 2023 Weekend 2 kicks off today (April 21), with Bad Bunny headlining and many more FADER favorites filling out the undercard: Gorillaz, Burna Boy, Kaytranada, Pusha T, Metro Boomin, Karol G, and others. Where last Friday’s schedule featured a short-notice set from a newly reunited Blink-182, Weekend 2 will see them taking the headlining role on Sunday, replacing Frank Ocean after he bowed out of Coachella 2023’s closing set following leg injuries he sustained on festival grounds before Weekend 1 (per his publicist).

Boygenius spoke out for trans rights last night (April 15) as they made their second appearance at Coachella 2023.The trio featuring – Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker – previously teamed up with MUNA the previous day (April 14) at the festival to perform the track ‘Silk Chiffon’.Arriving onstage to Thin Lizzy‘s ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’, the band played a host of tracks from their debut album ‘The Record’ including ‘$20’, ‘Salt In The Wound’, ‘Me & My Dog’ and ‘Anti-Curse’.During the set, at one point Baker spoke up for trans rights. “I don’t know if you’ve been checking the news and seeing what’s been going on in Florida and Missouri and some of the other places, but trans lives matter, trans kids matter.

Blink-182‘s comeback set at Coachella 2023 on Friday (April 14), their first since they reunited with Tom DeLonge.On the first day of the festival, the band played a 50-minute set of hits after they were confirmed as a last-minute addition the day before the show.The show came as the first of the band’s comeback tour, which was postponed after drummer Travis Barker suffered repeated injuries to a finger.During the set, the band played ‘Feeling This’, ‘What’s My Age Again?’, ‘The Rock Show’, ‘I Miss You’, ‘All The Small Things’ and other hits, alongside recent single ‘Edging’.In the field in Indio, California and on the festival’s livestream, fans reacted to the “incredible” experience of seeing the trio back together again.“An absolutely incredible experience watching these three back on stage together,” one fan wrote. “Wish I was there.

Kaytranada made waves during his first set at Coachella 2023 today (April 14), bringing Aminé and Kali Uchis out for guest spots.Kali was first up to the mic, joining the Canadian beatmaker to perform vocals on an updated version of their 2019 collaboration ‘10%’ (which appeared on that year’s ‘Bubba’ album).
