The Pogues ruled the Netflix English-language TV charts once again. Outer Banks Season 3 reigned over the Top 10 for the second week in a row from February 27 to March 5.

Just last week, it was reported that Apple TV+ is expected to send “Killers of the Flower Moon” to this year’s Cannes. While that has yet to be confirmed, a new report from Variety throws some more films into the mix as possible additions to this year’s event.

BreAnna Bell Netflix’s band of Pogue’s dominated the Top 10 chart as the most viewed title during the Feb. 20-26 viewing window as Season 3 of “Outer Banks” debuted atop the English-Language TV chart with 154.97 million hours viewed. The series also took up the No. 4 and No. 7 spots on the list as fans revisited Seasons 1 (35.1 million hours viewed) and Season 2 (23.86 million hours viewed) ahead of Season 3’s Feb. 23 premiere. The “Outer Banks” win effectively cut “You” Season 4’s two-week run at No. 1 short. The series, which released the first five episodes of its latest installment on Feb. 9, fell to fifth place on the chart in its third week of availability with 27.75 million hours viewed.

Outer Banks Season 3 easily climbed to the top of Netflix‘s English-language TV charts for the week of February 20 to February 26.

Outer Banks recently returned for its third season, and has now been renewed for a fourth on Netflix.The hit drama centres on two groups of teenagers – the Kooks and the Pogues – as they search for a lost treasure in the community of Outer Banks in North Carolina.Most of the action focuses on the Pogues, who are led by charismatic leader John B (Chase Stokes) as they embark on a mission to find his missing father, where the come across a treasure map.Season one was released in April 2020, and season two followed in July 2021, before the third season was released on February 23 this year.Season three of the show sees the characters “once again caught up in a race for the treasure, quite literally running for their lives.“They’re broke and far from home, they can’t trust anyone, Ward (Charles Esten) and Rafe (Drew Starkey) are hungry for revenge, and there’s a ruthless Caribbean Don who will stop at nothing to find the bounty,” the synopsis continues.“Was the treasure ever within their reach? Or was it all a trap to stop them once and for all? Zack Sharf Chase Stokes is the star of Netflix’s smash hit teen drama “Outer Banks,” but it turns out he missed his chance to be in an even bigger Netflix blockbuster. Speaking to Access Hollywood ahead of “Outer Banks” Season 3 launching on Netflix, Stokes revealed that he auditioned to play Steve Harrington in “Stranger Things” but completely bombed the audition. “I actually read for Steve Harrington,” Stokes said. “I forgot all the lines and absolutely [fucked] up the audition. I drove eight hours from Atlanta back to Orlando regretting every moment of my life on that.” Although “Stranger Things” creators Matt and Ross Duffer decided to write Stokes into the show’s first season, it was for a small non-speaking role in just one episode.
