X-Factor star Mary Byrne rushed to hospital after tour bus motorway crash

The X-Factor's Mary Bryne has been rushed to hospital after a horror car crash. Mary, 63, has touring in the UK with the cast of Menopause the Musical 2 and is thought to have been with her castmates at the time of the accident.The singer's tour bus is said to have crashed after a deer ran out into the road. Recalling the scary ordeal, Mary told the Irish Sun: "It was like an explosion.That’s what it sounded like.
All I could see was people being thrown from one end of the bus to the other." Mary went on to label the crash as "the most frightening thing that has ever happened to me". According to the publication, the crash took place on the M3 near Basingstoke at around 1pm on Friday, 3 March. OK! have contacted Mary's reps for comment.
Following the horror crash, several Menopause The Musical 2 shows had to be rescheduled as the cast recover. Sharing the news on Facebook, the official page for the theatre show announced: "Several of the Menopause the Musical 2 shows have been rescheduled due to a road traffic accident involving the cast. Please see below for rescheduled dates." Performances between the 3 - 6th March that were due to take place in Woking, Wimbledon, Exmouth and Manchester have been pushed back to next month.
Fans of the show were quick to send their well wishes to the cast. One person wrote: "Get well soon ladies! Saw the show Thursday night in Weymouth! Absolutely brilliant!" Another added: "Hope they all OK and wish them a speedy recovery," as a third continued: "Oh no. Hope they all have a speedy recovery and are back on stage soon!! Get well soon all those involved and see you in April." Replying to one person's comment, fans were told that Mary and her co-stars were "a little bruised and battered"
