Succession fans were waiting with bated breath for the final episode of series four to air.
The Emmy-winning series follows Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his family who run the fictional multi-billion dollar media company Waystar Royco. It had been a tumultuous time for the family, with Logan's unexpected death earlier in the series and a drama-filled penultimate episode as he funeral took place.
The show starred Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook and Alan Ruck as Logan's children, Roman Roy, Kendall Roy, Shiv Roy and Connor Roy respectively. The final episode, titled With Eyes Open, had a lot of loose ends to tie up - including, of course, who would take charge of Waystar Royco for good.

The feature-length episode was 90 minutes long. It aired on Sky Atlantic in the UK at 2am on Monday (May 29), and was also available to stream on NOW.
Ahead of episode 10, Brian told the BBC that he 'still believes' his character, foul-mouth Logan, is alive. He told BBC Two’s Amol Rajan Interviews: “This could be part of an elaborate ruse to find out.
"If you think about it, from Logan’s point of view, he has to find out how are his children going to behave when he dies, what will then happen? The only way to do that is to fake his death and actually, at some distant point, he’s observing the chaos that is following.”
But he added that the character would not “come back from the dead”, saying: “I’m just saying that could have been a supposition.”
So, is season 4, episode 10 really the end for Succession? Unfortunately for fans, it is. The show's creator, Peep Show's Jesse Armstrong, confirmed in February that the fourth season would be its last.
