Phillip Schofield shocked fans on Saturday afternoon when he uploaded a bombshell statement to his Instagram story to announce he was stepping down from his presenting role on This Morning.
The 61-year-old had been presenting the ITV show since 2002, with he and co-star Holly Willoughby once one of the nation's most loved duos.
