The nominations for this year’s Ivor Novello Awards have been announced. Out front this year are two songwriting duos – Harry Styles and Kid Harpoon, and Cleo Sol and Inflo – both of whom are up for three awards.Among the nods for Styles and Harpoon are one for Songwriter Of The Year, all for their work on Styles’ latest album ‘Harry’s House’.

Leo Barraclough International Features Editor Eco-thriller “The Swarm,” which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, has been acquired in the U.K. by pay-TV operator Sky. Negotiations with a U.S. partner are in the final stages. The show, produced by multiple Primetime Emmy award winner and “Game of Thrones” executive producer Frank Doelger and NDF IP’s managing director Eric Welbers, is set to play on the Sky Max channel in the U.K. later this year. “The Swarm” scored huge ratings in Germany on ZDF and on Austria’s ORF. In Germany, it attracted up to 10 million views per episode (linear and catch-up combined), multiple prime time wins, and big successes within the younger target group (between the ages of 14-49).

Jennifer Garner is back on TV! The actress stars in Apple TV+'s limited series, The Last Thing He Told Me, which is based on Laura Dave's book of the same name.In the limited series, Garner plays Hannah, a woman who works to find out her husband, Owen's (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), secrets after he mysteriously disappears. Along the way she has the help of her teenage stepdaughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice) and her journalist pal, Jules (Aisha Tyler), as well as a U.S.

Canadian Screen Week is officially underway — it’s the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television’s annual week-long celebration of the best in Canadian film, TV and digital media. With in-person ceremonies returning for the first time since 2019, nominees across 145 categories are being honoured over four days of live award shows at Toronto’s Meridian Hall. It’s all leading up to a star-studded broadcast hosted by Samantha Bee on Sunday night, when the winner of the Cogeco Fund Audience Choice Award will be revealed.

It was “Masked Singer in Space Night,” but “The Masked Singer” could have also been celebrating “’90s Night.” That’s because the two celebrities unmasked on Wednesday’s episodes were both TV stars from that era: Melissa Joan Hart (of “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” fame) and Alicia Witt (“Cybill,” “Mr. Holland’s Opus”). Hart was revealed to be Lamp, while Witt was Dandelion. Witt had won the previous week as Dandelion, but her journey ended here. For Dandelion, panelist Ken Jeong guessed Witt right. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg thought it was Milla Jovovich. Robin Thicke went with Sara Bareilles and Nicole Scherzinger named Zooey Deschanel.

Swift also has three further entries on the top 40 list, with ‘1989’ being placed at 23, ‘Folklore’ at 28 and ‘Lover’ at 31.The number three slot on the list was taken up by SZA for her second studio album ‘SOS‘, while Pink took up the number four slot with ‘Trustfall’. Harry Styles‘ ‘Harry’s House‘ rounded up the top five.Other entries on the list came from Lana Del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz and Eminem.

For Moose, panelist Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg got it right with George Wendt. Robin Thicke went with Jon Lovitz, Nicole Scherzinger named Ed O’Neill and Ken Jeong guessed John Goodman.
