Linkin Park have released ‘Fighting Myself’, a previously unheard outtake that was recorded for the band’s ‘Meteora’ album in 2003.Out today (March 24), the track marks the second ‘Meteora’ outtake to be released following ‘Lost’ in February. Both tracks – and more to come – will feature on the upcoming 20th anniversary edition of the band’s ‘Meteora’ package, available from April 7 onwards.‘Fighting Myself’ is composed of vocal stems from the band’s late vocalist Chester Bennington and rap verses from Mike Shinoda.

Busted have announced a new UK tour celebrating their 20th anniversary.The pop-punk trio will be playing a series of arena shows across the UK later this year, where they will perform their greatest hits and celebrate over 20 years since their formation.Heading to cities including Brighton, Nottingham, Newcastle and London, all 14 of the lined-up shows will take place throughout September. Starting at Cardiff’s CIA arena, the stint will kick off on September 3, and run until September 24 – ending at Manchester’s AO Arena.Hanson will also feature as a special guest at all gigs from September 9 onwards.

Most recently, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda shut down the idea of performing with a hologram of the band’s late vocalist Chester Bennington, who died by suicide in 2017. Chatting with 94.5 The Buzz, Shinoda said he wasn’t interested in a Bennington hologram after the radio host said she’d pay “good money” to see it. “Those are creepy,” he interjected. “Even if we weren’t talking about [Linkin Park], if we weren’t talking about Chester, which is…that’s a very sensitive subject, and we would have our feelings about how we would represent that. For me, that’s a clear no. I’m not into that.”

Mike Shinoda has revealed in a new interview that Linkin Park will not perform with a hologram of late frontman Chester Bennington.Speaking to 94.5 The Buzz, Shinoda shared his thoughts on holograms of musicians when interviewer Theresa said she would pay “good money” to see Bennington as a hologram. “Those are creepy. Even if we weren’t talking about us, if we weren’t talking about Chester, which is… that’s a very sensitive subject, and we would have our feelings about how we would represent that.

Nandi Bushell has shared a new cover online, playing the jazz saxophone on a version of a New Orleans Rhythm Kings song.The young musician became an internet sensation in 2020 after posting videos of herself drumming along to songs by a number of artists including the Foo Fighters.
