Vanessa Feltz was forced to discuss the announcement of Phillip Schofield admitting to having an affair with a "younger" colleague live on air.
Phillip, 61, has parted ways with his agency as well as ITV after he admitted to the romance despite having previously denied the reports.
Former This Morning star Feltz, also 61, was presenting her show on TalkTV while chatting with guest Nigel Pauley when the shocking news emerged. She kept a poker face through the interview while discussing the bombshell news.
According to reports in the Mirror, Phillip refused to name his former colleague and apologised for his actions, which he said were "unwise but not illegal." It comes after his abrupt exit from This Morning.
It was also confirmed that his former talent agency YMU had parted ways with the presenter following the news of the affair, which was not illegal. He will no longer host the British Soap Awards next week.
Nigel said the statement meant that there could be more "revelations and some more negativity coming out. If an agent drops someone and uses the words honesty and integrity, that’s not good."
Vanessa managed to keep herself composed through the chat as she nodded her head whilst her guest discussed the contents of the statement.
