Another week, another episode of Saturday Night Live!
Travis Kelce hosted the sketch comedy series for the first time over the weekend – and he surprisingly killed it! When the Kansas City Chiefs tight end first took to the Studio 8H stage, he started strong with a hilarious monologue about getting kicked off his college football team after testing “positive for marijuana,” appearing on his dating series Catching Kelce, and beating his older brother, Jason Kelce, at this year’s Super Bowl. Mind you, he made those jokes while the Philadelphia Eagles player was in the front row – but his reactions were priceless! Ch-ch-check it out (below):

Later in the show, Jason also made an appearance in a skit. The piece started with a woman named Abby, played by Heidi Gardner, seeing someone she went on one date with before in a bar. When she goes to chat with him, she finds out that he’s not only engaged but that he’s having a baby with his fiance! Oof. As her old flame shared these life updates, Abby could not stop crying. However, she ends up getting the last laugh! Abby reveals she’s seeing someone who is “a little bit older” and “totally ripped” – and Jason comes walking in! See what happens next (below):
Possibly the best sketch of the night had to be a pre-taped bit with Travis and the “Please Don’t Destroy” guys! In the skit, Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy attempt to build up their confidence in order to stand up to the SNL interns by going to a self-defense instructor. He leads the next batch of hosts as “SNL” returns at the end of the month for three consecutive weeks. Musical guests for those nights include Jack White (Feb. 25), Kelsea Ballerini (March 4) and The 1975 (March 11). Harrelson will host while promoting the new film “Champions,” in theaters March 10.
