A number of train services between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly have been affected this morning due to a technical fault.
Transport for Wales has said that there will be no services between the two stations this morning due to a signalling system error.
Scheduled journeys, which take place every hour, have been cancelled with disruption expected to last until the end of the day.

Planned services for 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm have already been cancelled, with future services being warned that they are unlikely to go ahead. Tickets for later Transport for Wales trains between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly today are currently unavailable to purchase.
On its website, Transport for Wales said: “We're currently seeing a number of changes due to disruption on routes to Manchester. Before travelling, use our Journey Check to get the latest updates on your service.”
Network Rail issued a similar warning on its website. The train provider said: “Due to a fault with the signalling system between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly, Transport for Wales services will be revised to start / terminate at Crewe. Disruption is expected until the end of the day."
Network Rail added that tickets will be accepted on alternative routes provided by Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry and Northern.
