Tommy Fury confessed he "doesn't have time" to propose to his long-term girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague - but insists he's "100% ready" for marriage. The famed boxer and reality star, 24, met his girlfriend Molly-Mae, 23, while taking part in the smash-hit ITV2 dating show Love Island, where they quickly fell in love and finished in second place. Since then, the couple have gone from strength to strength, welcoming their first child together, daughter Bambi, in January of this year.
Today, Tommy made his Loose Men debut as the RTS award-winning show returned to ITV1 and ITVX to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.Tommy joined Radio 2's Vernon Kay, The Chase's Paul Sinha, and actor and musician Martin Kemp, to tackle the topics affecting men right now. During a discussion about the best time to propose in a relationship, Tommy revealed his own plans to pop the question to girlfriend Molly-Mae. He said: "My actual plan was to [propose] a lot sooner but obviously being a boxer, when you're in a training camp, you've got to completely shut yourself off and focus on the fight." He then added: "So I can't be going here, there and everywhere proposing.
I'm going to do it soon guys, I really am but it just takes a bit of time." Later in the show, he confessed: "I'm 100% ready for marriage but as I said, it's just finding the time." When the discussion turned to parenthood, Tommy told the panel that he and Molly-Mae both knew they wanted to be parents early on. He explained: "It was on Love Island. It was quite early on to be fair.
