The Traitors' bosses have their eyes set on some key contestants for a potential celebrity version of the show.
The BBC reality show became an overnight sensation, with many branding the series one of the best competition shows in recent years. Following on from the success of season one, there have been many rumours circulating about a potential celebrity version of the murder mystery show.
Filmed in the Highlands, The Traitors saw 22 contestants enter Ardross Castle in a bid to suss out who the Traitors were amongst the Faithful contestants - before they were murdered or banished.
The ultimate game of deception and betrayal had viewers hooked until the very last second, as Faithfuls Meryl Williams, Aaron Evans and Hannah Byczkowski took home the £101,050 prize pot.
Following the success of season one, there have been rumours a celebrity version could already be in the works as BBC bosses have set their sights on their ideal contestants. Speaking to Metro, executive producers Sarah Fay and Toni Ireland have shared who would be in their dream line-up.
Sarah said: "I think we’d want people who are so invested in the game and want to play the game, and I think that’s what brings the drama so well. We’ve been blown away by some of our celebrity support."
She continued: "I’d love to see Rylan [Clark], he’d be incredible, but also Kathy Burke is a fan. I mean Russell T Davies is a fan. I think I’d want very much a mixture of different types of celebs as well."
