Doc Marie’s  Doc Marie’s is a lesbian bar that opened in 2022. They’re known as a “lesbian bar for everyone.” They have two floors, each with its own bar and seating, and a DJ downstairs. There’s even a queer book corner on the top floor.

Montclair is a great place for a day trip or short weekend get-away, especially if you’re living in New York City, with six train stations in Montclair that can get you there from Penn Station very easily.  We visited Montclair in collaboration with Destination Montclair and the Montclair Center BID to experience its queer scene and local business. Although a small town, Montclair has pockets of queer community and queer-owned businesses that are worth highlighting and checking out if you’re in the area.  Minia’s Minia’s is a delightful brunch spot and the founders met at Henrietta Hudson, a popular lesbian bar in New York City.

Portland is known for its quirky charm, beautiful landscapes, and progressive politics. It has become a popular destination for LGBTQ+ followers, especially as a domestic trip in America. If you’re coming from a larger US city, like New York or LA, Portland is a great way to get a smaller city feel, while still having a lot of options in culture and nightlife.  Whether you’re looking to explore the city’s vibrant arts scene, indulge in its delicious food and drink, or simply relax and soak up the laid-back vibes, Portland has something for everyone.

Rustic ambience filled the 5th House private loft in Williamsburg at our quarterly Very Important Queer event. With a beautiful, queer cabaret show, featuring the incredible Justice Roes and Maddie Crump and a full band, this was a night to remember.

Transmasc clothing company, Both&, launched their newest campaign celebrating Trans Day of Visibility, transmasc fashion, and trans joy. We got the chance to speak with the founder, Finn Sherpard to discuss the beginnings of Both& Apparel, the new campaign, and what visibility means to Finn. What was your initial inspiration and hope for Both& Apparel? The initial hope and ambition was very humble.
