Sergio Aguero is returning to Manchester to mark 10 years since his 94th-minute winner secured Manchester City's first Premier League title in the most dramatic fashion.
Aguero, the club's record goalscorer, left for Barcelona in the summer of 2021 after a trophy-filled decade at the Etihad that saw him thrive as one of the most prolific finishers ever seen in England. While a heart condition tragically forced him to retire from the game earlier this season, the affable Argentine is headlining City's celebrations to mark the 10-year anniversary of 93:20.
A ballot will take place to allow 2,000 fans to attend a star-studded event at Mayfield Depot on Friday May 13, where Aguero and other members of the 2011/12 squad will be reunited to share their memories of the day and their time with the club. More details on how supporters can attend will be announced by the club soon.

City will also unveil their statue to Aguero outside the Etihad on that day. Having already produced sculptures of Vincent Kompany and David Silva that have stood outside the East Stand this season, artist Andy Scott will complete the triumvirate of key figures at the club over the last decade when the steel tribute to the outstanding goalscorer is produced.
As previously reported by M.E.N Sport, the club are also looking to commemorate other great players in their history including Colin Bell, Mike Summerbee, and Franny Lee on the site of their stadium, although there is no date for when they will be finished.
