Scots singer Joesef will be heading to the east end this weekend as he launches his brand new album Permanent Damage.
The Sun Is Up Forever singer will take over a stall at the infamous Glasgow Barras to sell copies of his much anticipated album.
The singer, from Garthamlock, is no stranger to the Barras, having played his first sold out gig at the legendary venue in 2021. He makes his return for two nights at the end of his forthcoming UK tour in March.
Joesef said: "Going to have a pop up shop in the Barrowlands Market on January 14! I thought it'd be funny to dish out beers, blast some tunes and punt some vinyls and merch for the young team. The Barras market is the epicentre of everything you need and don’t need - we'll be providing both those things on January 14th so come get in about it."
Just last month, Elton John admitted that he is "in love" with Joesef's voice and music during a podcast interview.
Joesef, who was a guest on The Rocket Hour on Apple Music, was left in disbelief by Elton's confession, saying that he never thought he'd ever find himself chatting to the icon.
The Rocket Man singer started the pod by saying to Joesef: "I'm so excited to talk to you because I’m in love with your music, I'm in love with your voice…"
Joesef replied and told listeners how he got into music, saying: "OMG! This is very surreal for me. I kind of started out just making tunes in by bedroom, just plugging my guitar into my laptop.
"I didn't really know what I was doing. My best mate, who is now my manager, heard me singing at an open mic night and became my manager and we just kind of rolled with it. And now I am here talking to Elton John on The Rocket Hour."
