Prince Harry claimed that his brother Prince William had been 'plotting revenge' on him since they were young as opened up about an incident which happened in Scotland in his new memoir.
In the book, titled Spare, the Duke of Sussex details personal and intimate details of his royal life, while also describing the struggles he has suffered at the hands of his family - including from his brother William and father, King Charles III.
According to Edinburgh Live, Harry writes that the brothers would fight often if there were "no other common enemies around", and during one scuffle in Scotland, it all came to a head.
Early on in the book, Harry penned: "Once in Scotland, on the way to the River Spey, we started scuffling and soon were in a full scrap, rolling back and forth, trading blows. Pa swerved to the side of the road, shouted at Willy [Prince William] to get out.
"Me? Why? Pa didn't feel the need to explain. Out. Willy turned to me, furious. He felt I got away with everything. He stepped out of the car, stomped to the back-up car with all the bodyguards, strapped himself in (We always wore seatbelts after Mummy's disappearance)."
Harry claims that William felt wronged in that moment, that Harry had been just as much of a culprit as he had been - but didn't get punished.
The Prince finished the small story by saying: "The convoy resumed. Now and then I peered out of the back window. Behind us, I could just make out the future King of England, plotting his revenge."
The Duke said that the scuffle in Scotland was the turning point in his and William's relationship - where his brother decided it was a rivalry instead of just a normal brotherly bicker.
Prince Harry's book was released on Tuesday.
