The Crowded Room,” which stars Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum. The 10-episode thriller series will premiere with its first three episodes on June 9. The remaining seven episodes will then air one episode per week, concluding on Friday, July 28. “The Crowded Room,” according to its official plot description, follows “Danny Sullivan (Holland) after he was arrested for his involvement in a New York City shooting in 1979. Danny unveils his life through a series of interviews with interrogator Rya Goodwin (Seyfried), and slowly details to Rya, and the audience, his mysterious past that led him to the fateful incident. As Danny retrospectively examines his life, he reckons with his past and a few pivotal moments, that ultimately leads him to uncover a life-altering revelation.”

Tom Holland hasn’t appeared on either the big or small screen since the release of “Uncharted” over a year ago. That’s going to change this June with “The Crowded Room,” a new limited series spearheaded by Executive Producer Akiva Goldsman.

Ahead of its debut, Apple TV+ shared the first look at the star-studded cast and revealed the premiere date for the 10-part season. In the upcoming thriller created by Goldsman, Holland, who also serves as an executive producer, plays a man named Danny Sullivan, who is arrested following his involvement in a 1979 shooting in New York City. Told through a series of interviews conducted by a curious interrogator, Rya Goodwin (Seyfried), the story of Danny's life unfolds, revealing how elements of his past shaped his future, including the twists and turns that led him to a life-altering incident. Rossum, meanwhile, plays Danny's mother, Candy, while the rest of the cast is rounded out by Sasha Lane, Will Chase and Lior Raz as well as guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski and Zachary Golinger.Filmed on location in New York City during the summer of 2022, Zendaya was even seen at one point paying Holland a visit on the set of the upcoming series. The star was all smiles as she visited her boyfriend after the two confirmed their romance following years of speculation.

Apple TV+ has set Friday, June 9 for the premiere of The Crowded Room, its upcoming limited series created by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind). So will lightning strike twice with “Platonic“? That’s the title of Byrne’s new series coming to the streamer with Spring with co-star Seth Rogen.
