Anytime a “Scream” movie drops, it’s safe to assume fans want to see it multiple times, especially to catch all the Easter eggs. The sixth movie, written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick and directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, picks up plenty of threads from the last film. This time, Tara (Jenna Ortega) enrolls in college in New York City, attempting to leave the past in the past. Making it hard is her overprotective sister, Sam (Melissa Barrera), who struggles to move forward since the internet is convinced she actually orchestrated the last killings. Along with Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), “Scream VI” also marks the return of Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown, respectively) and “Scream 4” survivor Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), who now works as an FBI agent and comes to New York after hearing about Ghostface’s return.

Kate Bush joined actor Ian McKellen and actor and comedian John Bishop for an aftershow party at an Oxford pub earlier this week.The music icon celebrated McKellen and Bishop’s 100th performance on Wednesday (March 8) of their pantomime Mother Goose, which was running at the New Theatre Oxford from Tuesday (March 8) until yesterday (March 11).According to a Facebook message spotted by The Oxford Mail, a staff member at Oxford’s The Jolly Farmers pub said: “The astonishingly wonderful Sir Ian McKellen and the amazing John Bishop spent the evening with us celebrating the 100th performance of Mother Goose.“Oh, and just to make things truly crazy, the legend that is Kate Bush popped in to see him and have a few drinks. Early on in the new documentary “Joan Baez I Am a Noise,” over shots of its subject being swarmed by fans at the height of her early-‘60s success, the present-day Baez quips that much of the public came to view her like the Virgin Mary — and confesses that, with her head swelled by fame at the time, she was not much inclined to disagree. But occasional flashes of ego seem like the least of the psychological problems dogging the singer, as portrayed in a music doc that starts out as a fly-on-the-wall view of Baez’s farewell tour and ends as an extended look at family trauma and recovery from mental illness.
