Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City have rediscovered the focus and mentality to embark on the kind of unbeaten run that has been a feature of their Premier League title wins.
The Blues went nine unbeaten at the start of the season but since losing at Liverpool on October 16 they've failed to go more than three games without defeat and find themselves chasing down Arsenal at the top of the league.
City have usually embarked on defining runs in title races during the winter months, but consistency has been difficult to find this season, although victory at the Emirates on Wednesday would take them top, albeit having played a game more.

Guardiola has been critical of the body language of some of his players since returning from the World Cup, but he's sensed an improvement in the mood recently and believes an unbeaten run could soon be on the cards.
"I would say the mentality is there. We are second in the table, in the FA Cup, in the Champions League again. We didn't drop much," he said.
"The difference is because we had a team that made 50 points in the first leg [of the season]. When that happens, hats off and try to learn to catch up.
"After what we have done, I don't have the feeling that everything was a mess. We are close and in moments we are doing really really well.
"I understand the standards are so high when you compare with the past and sometimes you don't do as well and you have to reflect on what is not going well. You accept it. We are just in February, there are a lot of games still to play."
