Paul O'Grady's husband's heartbreak as he shares last picture together before his death

Andre Portasio has shared the final photograph of him and husband Paul O’Grady, following the TV star's death on 28 March. Andre, 41, announced that Paul had passed away in a statement shared on Wednesday, saying he'd "unexpectedly but peacefully" died at the age of 67. Dozens of fans and celebrities have paid tribute to the late star, who made his big break as Drag Queen Lily Savage, and Andre, who married Paul in 2017, has now shared a message thanking everyone for their support.
The former professional ballerina shared a sweet snap of him and Paul enjoying a holiday back in January, revealing it is the final photograph of the pair together. "In time I hope to write to everyone individually and thank you for all posts, messages, phone calls, emails, cards and flowers of support. I much appreciate you all taking the time to reach out.
I’m so very touched and I’m sure Paul would be too!" Andre wrote. He then added: "Browsing for a picture I found the last picture we ever took together. Unbeknownst to us back in January this would be our last ever holiday together." Andre was met with huge support under the post, with many sharing messages of support and tributes to Paul.
"Oh Andre! So so sorry for your loss. All the support and love goes to you on this hard time," one person wrote, while a second said: "A national treasure loved by so many always coming across as a genuine generous caring person will be so missed. Heartfelt best wishes x".
