Outnumbered actress Ramona Marquez is best known for playing little Karen Brockman in the hit BBC sitcom, but nearly 16 years since she first made her debut, the star is barely recognisable. Now 22, Ramona looks worlds away from her role as curly-haired cheeky youngster Karen, who starred in the programme as Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner's married characters' daughter. Ramona was only six years old when she was first cast in the British family comedy in 2007, and played Karen for seven years until she was 13.The series then returned for a one-off Christmas special in 2016, as BBC viewers were delighted to see the beloved family back on screens one last time.
Seven years later, the star has posted a TikTok video which ended up going viral over the weekend as fans couldn't believe she was the same girl. While Ramona still features Karen's recognisably cheeky grin, she now rocks straightened brunette locks and a choppy fringe. The actress has also evolved into her edgy style, as she showed off her dramatic flick eyeliner and a series of silver chain jewellery. "Everybody told me that I sound like CG5, probably because I am CG5," the TikTok began, before reminding fans who Ramona is best known for.
"Everybody tells me that I look like the little girl from Outnumbered..." the audio finished, as the former actress smiled to the camera. In another snap, the star stuck her tongue out to show off her piercing, and also put her finger tattoos and an adornment of silver rings on display. Flashing her midriff, the star wore a plain long-sleeved top and black drawstring trousers as she posed for the mirror selfie.
