Mike Tindall opened up about his wife Zara Tindall's miscarriage as he and podcast co-host James Haskell appeared on This Morning on Monday. As they're planning on taking their highly successful podcast called The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, Mike, 44, and James, 37, appeared on Monday's episode of This Morning to discuss their upcoming tour. James had began the discussion as he told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about how their podcast isn't just about rugby as they also tackle really important issues.
James said: "People turn around and say, 'Look, you know, I love being a parent, I have this difficult moment, this was great, this was hard'. "Whatever it is, I think people then feel much more able to normalise all of it." Mike then opened up about his and Zara's baby loss as he said: "Unfortunately, me and Zara went through a sort of baby loss. "Zara was five months pregnant, and the amount of people who wrote to me or got in touch is astronomical.
"Everyone assumes having a baby is easy and it's not. "And unless people get around that or know about it and understand it, it's hard to deal with." Zara experienced the miscarriage in December 2016, when she was five months along in her pregnancy. Revealing the news on Christmas Eve, a spokesperson for the couple said: 'Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby.
"At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy.” The pair had announced that they were expecting just four weeks earlier.
